SICKNESS/COVID POLICY

CARING FOR OUR DIABETES COMMUNITY DURING TIMES OF SICKNESS

 

It's important that we provide a comfortable and safe environment for you and your whānau while you access our services.  We also want to keep our team members safe. 

If you are unwell and have any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, shortness of breath, sneezing or runny nose, sore throat, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND our in-person programmes during this time. 

OR

If you have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past seven days please do not attend our in-person programmes. If you have a household contact who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the past seven days, you may attend but will need to provide evidence of a negative RAT test taken on the day of the programme.

If you are unsure about whether or not to attend an in-person class, please feel free to contact us to discuss so we can arrange for you to access our services via Zoom or telephone if needed.
